The district of Dunrossness is at the south end of the Shetland mainland.

The Church is located some 300m west of the junction of the main Lerwick-Sumburgh road (A970). At the junction, the road sign points to "Dunrossness Baptist Church" and "Quendale".

It is easily recognisable by its red-tiled roof and unusual square tower on its front elevation.

It lies approximately 22 miles south of Lerwick and 5 miles north of Sumburgh airport.
